A Harvard graduate with advanced degrees in Economics, Marriage and Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling, and decades of experience working with high-profile philanthropic families, I work with complete discretion to help individuals live their greatest lives, couples rekindle romance, and families to strengthen bonds, improve communication, and collaborate efficiently and with loving-kindness and mutual respect.
I specialize in helping you navigate complex and sometimes toxic relationships, feelings of betrayal, shame, guilt, trauma, self-doubt, self-criticism, anxiety, LGBTQI+, Jewish, and intermarriage issues. For over twenty years Schwartz has been a leader in the nonprofit, philanthropic, and corporate sectors, specializing in conflict resolution, interpersonal communication, crisis management, donor collaborations, multi-stakeholder engagements, and public-private partnerships.
Schwartz is a fellow of Atria Academy of Science ; Medicine and a board member of the Ketamine Research Foundation. The American Express Centurion cardholders’ magazine, Black Ink, named Schwartz one the “25 Most Influential Philanthropists”.
As a speaker and author in the areas of interpersonal communication, effective global philanthropy and building family legacy, he has moderated discussion panels and workshops at the UBS Philanthropy Forum, the World Economic Forum, McKinsey & Co., Harvard University, Yale University, the Rockefeller Foundation-Bellagio, the Global Philanthropy Forum, and The Prince Bernhard Fund for Nature, the Badenweiler Symposium, TEDxDanubia, and at many international YPO and other conferences.
Schwartz received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Harvard University. He was awarded a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) honoris causa by the Glasgow Caledonian University. He also studied at Harvard Business School, the International Institute for Management Development (IMD) in Lausanne, the Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
He was selected as one of Crain’s New York Business’ “40 under 40” emerging business leaders, and was named one of the 100 Global Leaders for Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum in Davos.
